Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation I am sending the best regards to the participants and visitors of the 9th international water forum "Water: Ecology and Technology" ECWATECH-2010.
This forum is very important for Russia because our country has tremendous water resources. The effective and careful use of these resources became one of the key tasks for economically developed country. This dictated by time challenge and ways of its salvation have been reflected in Water Strategy of the Russian Federation for the period to 2020, that was adopted by the Government of the Russian Federation in August 2009.
The International Water Forum ECWATECH will allows to work out the most comprehensive approaches to implement the industry challenges determined by the Government of the Russian Federation and to support the most prospective international cooperation. I wish all the participants and visitors of the Forum successful work to identify concrete ways and mechanisms of the international cooperation in protecting and effective use of the global water resources
